Will - I truly believe my flinch is related to taking my eye off the clay just before the moment of releasing the shot. How can I improve on looking at the target and not being aware of the barrel?

    JML,
What you described is what 98% or flinches are....its a vision problem, not a recoil problem. The way to help fix this problem is having a small part of the clay pre-determined that you will bring into focus (a ring, edge, shadow, bright spot, etc) and letting that be your visual que to execute your shot. You need to make seeing the target clearly more important than breaking the bird( one of Dr Colo's favorite sayings!).
